OtakuSoftware a liberado la beta 1.5 del remodelado yodm3D.
Despues de unos pocos minutos de prueba les puedo contar que el rendimiento ha mejorado y el consumo de memoria bajo un poco.
Al girar el cubo el puntero del mouse aparece con el icono (que ahora es naranjo)
Ya no se usan fotografias equirectangulares en el fondo. Esto se cambio por 6 imagenes que forman otro cubo que se usa como fondo
Hasta ahora no he notado mas diferencias.

How To Install
If you have previously installed DeskSpace 1.5 Beta R1, R2, or R3:
1. Delete the DeskSpace 1.5 Beta R1, R2, and/or R3 installation directory.
2. If running Windows XP, delete the “C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\OtakuSoftware\DeskSpace” directory. If running Windows Vista, delete the “C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\OtakuSoftware\DeskSpace” directory.
3. Change your desktop wallpaper to an existing image file.
Unzip the DeskSpace15BetaR4.zip file to a directory and then double-click the deskspace.exe file in that directory. To activate DeskSpace, press and hold CTRL+ALT+SHIFT, then click and drag the mouse or press the Left and Right Arrow keys to switch desktops, and press the Up and Down Arrow keys to zoom in and out. To configure DeskSpace, click on its system tray icon then select the “Options…” menu item.

Sigue siendo lo mismo que lo anterior… el cubo no se puede girar en la direccion q queramos como se hace con el beryl en linux… m gustaria q el cubo se pudiera girar en todas las direcciones y q hubiera una pagina donde bajar los fondos…!! y el pequeño detalle de los videos en vivo al girar el cubo eso aun no lo tienen…!!

El la version 1.5 R2 hay notables mejoras en cuanto a los bugs y un poco en el rendimiento.
Aun el programa no tiene previsualisacion en tiempo real de los videos y creo que no lo lograran con esta aplicacion… recuerden es una aplicacion para windows…..

Les recomiendo que prueben otra aplicación llamada CubeDesktop. Está en http://www.cubedesktop.com.
Esta si que tiene los 6 escritorios en las 6 caras del cubo y las ventanas se actualizan en tiempo real, aunque no las de video!!!
También tiene una especie de Exposè tipo Mac incorporado aunque no demasiado buena.
La aplicación promete!!

No prueben el cubedesktop, es una porqueria!
Tiene incontables bugs a pesar de que las ventanas se visualisen en tiempo real…
Prefiero mil veces cualquier otro programa que cubedesktop… lo digo por que he probado muchos saludos!

Pues yo tengo instalada la última versión 1.3.1 de Cubedesktop y va de maravilla, no le he encontrado ningún fallo.
Y lo tengo instalado en varias computadoras XP y Vista.
